Last week all three of our teams departed on our outreach trips. It was very sad to say goodbye to firstly the Cambodia team and then the India team before we (South Africa) got on the plane too.

Just before we left Tyson and I (Jamie) were walking down Queen Street and Tyson happened to comment about the pattern a woman’s jandal/flip flop/ thong/ insert weird name here, had left on the street. It had been raining and her jandal was so well worn that nothing but the shape of her foot was left imprinted on the pavement! We commented that that was a kind of metaphor for us for outreach. We hope that we leave nothing but the imprint of God’s character as we touch the world. That as we continue to become shaped into the people he made us to be we will each leave our unique representation of Him upon the situations and people we encounter…

We’ll all keep you updated on the stories…
